Rambo, you ask a good question, but the answer for most of us is no. Being happy sounds like grinning like a cheshire Cat all day and people will think your crazy. I am content to be alone. My wife is 10,000 miles away, my kids do not keep in contact, but in my heart there is a day when these thing will be healed.

Not as happy as I should be.And that's not a grouse but a confession.
I should be a lot happier with my lot since I'm healthy, not hungry, not penniless and not without family or friends.
I should be REALLY REALLY HAPPY so why aren't I???
Probably because I keep seeing all those ads telling me that to be happy I must have the latest car-fashion-holiday... you name it.
No wonder so many of us aren't happy. We're continually asked 'How can we be" when we are inadequate without being filthy rich,or super slim or bronze tanned or a so called "celebrity"
I will now make a conscious effort to be happier and laugh at all those idiots who have everything material but still stay as miserable as sin.
I'm feeling better already

i don't know...i should be happy coz i'm healthy, have a good home, get good marks, etc...but i know i'm not 100% happy. i know because i'm moving next year and i can't wait. if i were truly happy i'd be heartbroken for leaving the country where ive lived my whole life, but instead i just want out. i think it's because at my school, to be popular you have to change, and i'm not prepared to do that. just want to be liked the way i am, and i find it hard to stay true to myself...good question.

In general, yes!
Still, I can help it and think about tomorrow, and know that it's all well to have a good time, but what next.
So that stress and fear are never too far away.
I do manage to enjoy myself though, and can totally recognise when I'm having a fabulous time.xxx
