I believe many more are taking a part in politics, because of George Bush's regime. They see the misjustice, and ask why things are so.

I'm fifteen going on sixteen and I'm very involved with politics and current events. I've beaten middle aged men in political debates and continue to beat all the kids my aged who only listen to what their daddy's and mommy's have to say. Overall most of my peers are pretty thick when it comes to politics, but there are a few who avoid that stereotype such as myself. Hopefully they will come to realize that this is their country too and begin to get involved. Although they should make up their own minds and not vote just because their dad tells them to.
The people as a whole should research the candidates in the 2008 election and not listen to all the rumors. Especially those about Barack Obama. He maybe be newer, but so was Kennedy. We need someone like that again. Someone smart, a good speaker, and someone who will guide our country back in the right direction. if you don't believe watch his video. if you aren't moved by his speech at the last convention, than there's something wrong with you. Make your vote count and vote for someone who isn't as old and hard as a fossil. Intelligence and talent trumps experience and will make the difference in the years to come. OBAMA 08!

I think that the youth of today are similar to the youth of yesterday. If it affects them directly, they will get involved.
