I would have not let my ex intimidate me with his abuse and divorced him instead of enduring 20 years of being a hostage.

My ex moved to Japan and we'd been together 5 years and I didn't go with him. Needless to say we lasted 4 months and decided it wasn't going to work. part of me regrets not going in hope we could have stayed together, however I'm not one to regret much and we're great mates now, I did visit Japan which I wouldn\t have otherwise done and it's enabled him to have the chance of a lifetime and me to do what I really want to do without having to consider anyone else. So in a way it's a huge regret, but in a way not so much so. You have to see the brighter side if you can :)

I wish I'd spent my youth travelling around the world, seeing amazing things, checking out different cultures. Now I'm 40,and I have a 7 year old daughter,so world travelling is out of the question! When she's grown up,I hope to do a lot of travelling-but I think it would have been better if I had done it in my 20's.

I always wanted to join the Police, then I met my husband and he was an ex Police Officer and kind of put me off. I still think about it now, and wonder how it might have been. I don't think I'm wise enough or fit enough now!
