25x-15x=30 => 10x=30 => x=3
you put all x on one side then divide with 10

First, get all of the numbers with X's on one side of the equation, and you do that by adding or subtracting them as a whole (the number and the variable go together). Combine the numbers with the X's. And on the other side have the other numbers, and you also combine them. After this you should have 10x=-30. you need to get an answer that says x=?, so right now you have 10x. x=1x, so you need to divide 10 by itself to get it to be 1. you have to do this to the other side too, so you need to take -30 divides by 10. Throughtout all of this, whenever you do something to one side, you hve to do it to the other. Here is my answer:
25x+30=15x
-15x -15x <-----subtract 15x on both sides

10x+30=0 <-----result
-30 -30 <-----subtract 30 on both sides

10x=-30 <-----result
---- ----
10 10 <----divide 10 on both sides

x=-3 <-----result

I don't know if these steps will make sense, because it's hard to do it on the computer!

No worry.

Just combine like terms and solve.

Since you have 2 items with x, need to combine them by subtracting 15x , [It is always more efficient to subtract the smaller number, so that you get a positive sign in front of the variable, x]

25x - 15x + 30 = 15x -15x or 10x +30 = 0

Next, subtract 30, 10x = -30

Divide by 10, you get x= -3

The answer is x = - 3.

This is why:
25x + 30 = 15x
25x - 15x = -30
10x = -30 (divide both sides by 10)
x = -3

first of all you take all the x's to the left and the numbers to the right remembering when you move something over the equals sign it becomes the opposite(a negative would become positive & a positive would become a negative) so you equation will become:
25x-15x= -30

then you do the sum

10x= -30

you now find x by

x= -30/10 = -3

so the answer is -3

25x+30=15x

First you want to get everything on one side
:(subtract 15x from both sides)

10x + 30 = 0

Next divide by a common factor of 10
(both sides of the equal sign) :
x+3 = 0
subtract the three so you can isolate the variable to one side:

x = -3.

25x + 30 = 15x

You want to isolate the x term (meaning that you want only the x on one side of the equation). So, subtract:

25x + 30 = 15x
-25x -25x

Now you have:

30 = -10x

But you still don't have x isolated, so here's the next step:

30 = -10x
/-10 /-10 (this means to divide each side by -10).

And your answer is:
x = -3

I hope this helped! It's kind of hard to explain over the internet. :)

you move the x's to one side
25x+30=15x
-25x -25x
it gives you 30=-10x
now divide both sides by -10 to get x by itself
30/-10= -10x/-10
you get -3=x (or x=-3 if you want o switch it around, but it doesn't matter)

25x+30=15x
subtract 15x from both sides
25x-15x+30=15x -15x
the result will be
10x+30=0
subtract 30 from both sides
10x+30-30=0-30
10x=-30
divide each side by 10
x=-30/10
x=-3

25x +30=15x
-25x -25x subtract 25 x from both sides
30=-10x
/-10 /-10 divide by -10 on both sides
-3=x

you have 25x+30=15x, so you do this 25x-15x=-30, you have to have all x on one side of = and 30 becomes - 30 cause it switch places. and youre result is 10x= -30, so x=-3.i can't explain better than that.
