No... do not depend on a credit card. If you can pay for it in cash, why bother with the credit card. If you don't pay for it with your money right away, some always happens, then you end up not being able to pay off your credit card bill.. then you're into the debt cycle that has gotten most of this country into the debt trouble that they are in.

GOD YES!
As long as you pay the balance off every month, it's an interest free loan.
My credit cards are 0% interest. What I do, I transfer the money into my savings account for each purchase that I make using a credit card, and when it's bill time, I transfer it back to checking (all at once) to pay everything off.

Yes! I buy most of my grocery with credit card.
But use credit card to buy groceries only benefit certain people.
1. You have a 0% credit card, and you have enough money to save to higher interest saving bank. (purchase within your mean).
2. You pay off your balance every month, and you can earn reward pts + cash back from your credit card.
Benefits included:
1. Easy to keep track your spending. If you use Quicken/MS Money or whatsoever, it is always easier for your to see how much you spent on grocery/entertainment....On the other hand, cash spending is harder to keep track of.
2. You earn reward pts + cash back
3. You can save your money into your higher interest saving bank.
**The button line is, as long as you dont need to pay fees/interest to credit card company, it is good to buy groceries with credit card.

If it's your only option, sure. Or if you get points and can definitely pay it off, sure. The only time you'll run into trouble is if you can't pay off the credit card bill, then you start to pay interest. Not worth it on groceries.

Yes but just don't go nuts with expensive convenience foods. Shop with a plan. Remember that when you pay it, you'll have less money to work with so you could end up charging again and again. You need to eat but you might not need shrimp scampi, steaks, and elaborate entrees. Think of inexpensive, nutritious and filling meals and don't buy junk food. There's no reason you need to spend more than $30 for a week's worth of groceries if you stick to the basics. Shop the outer edge of your store... produce, meat, dairy, and bakery aisles for bread, veggies, protien, etc.

I think that if you're going to pay it off on Friday, and you're hungry, go ahead and buy your groceries on your credit card.
The period between charging it and paying it off is so small, that your interest would probably be pennies.
Well worth having a full belly.

It's fine as long as you are keeping the card compltetely paid off. You don't want to be paying for a steak three years from now, with interest.

Get accostumed to buy cash.
Get rid of your debt. The U.S. Dollar is about to die. The interest rates will surge faster than a volcanic eruption.
If you have seen countries economies being destroyed, let me tell you you should search into it. America´s turn is coming!
