yes i do remember laurel and hardy. stan laurel and oliver hardy started doing comedy in the old vaudville days at the turn of the century around 1900. they were extreemly successful along with buster keaton. buster went on to direct in films and laurel and hardy to do many movies and radio programs. all of their films are still available and now you can get the whole collection of their radio shows on cd

They originated from the silent movies days so they must have been around in the twenties/thirties. All their films were clean harmless comedies with the famous catch phrase by Ollie of, " Now that's another fine mess you have got me into! " Which usually resulted in Stanley, screwing up his face and crying.

Yea they're funny as hell. Laurel crying is the funniest face ever!
I have respect for them because they invented their own style and stuck to it.
No posing, no copying etc.

i remember who they are, but i've never met them personally...I used to watch "march of the wooden soldiers" every christmas when i was a kid. Why is it i wonder that they don't play it anymore? I wish they would play it again...
