I'm not entirely sure, but I think it would have gone through a halflife and would therefore be about 5370 years old. I'm not sure on the halflife either, but you can definitely look that up.

Anyway, for the sake of argument that half-life is 5000 years.

From the data of counts, it has decreased by HALF, so one half life has passed, so the artifact is 5000 years old. If the counts is 4, then the artifact is 10,000 years old.
