The driver version should be available by Right click on an open area of the Desktop, Properties, Settings Tab, Advanced, Adapter Tab, Properties, Driver Tab.

To Fix the problem:
Reinstall your existing video card driver from the install CD that came with it.
Or
Determine the Make and Model of your video card.
Either check your documentation, or read it off the card.
Go to the Manufacturer's web site download & install it

Good Luck

Look under My Computer, View system info, Hardware, Device manager and if you click on what your card is, it should tell you the driver you have installed. Take care Heather

You could go to Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System info... then navigate to components and click on display. Your card type will be displayed there. You can also get information from the control panel>system icon> hardware>device manger>display...

But I downloaded the program Belarc advisor (free) which gives much of the same info link: http://www.belarc.com/ click on free download.

Go to your control panel and look under system. You'll see a tab marked hardware, click on the device manager and then look for "Display Adapter" it will tell you what it is.
