It seems like the human race would have evolved more so in the past century to see that war doesn't help anything, it only destroys and complicates things. Shouldn't we be getting smarter not more arrogant and irrational?!?!? Well at least some of us have progressed past the whole violence-to-prove-a-point-thing!

Yes, it must always be. I'm anti-war, meaning the killing, but the principle behind war is just another might-makes-right policy. In our world, certain entities are not yet ready to have civil conversation with eachother. To, even if they make an agreement, abide by it without reprecussions.

We are human, it is called a wise notion to know that when faced with what is right and what is easy you should do what is right, however for now the human race as a whole still chooses what is easy, and as such factions will not always follow that which is the right thing to do. The only reprecussion, may it be individual or on a large scale is power. If you did not have this you would have communism, which even though could be called paradise at its completion is utterly impossible to achieve.

Not for the US. It works for most every one else. The US hasn't won a war sense ww2. Every one knows that all you have to do in give the US a bloody nose and we will cut and run. Every conflict we have been in sense WW2 this has happen.
