Hello guys, it's me again but this time I'm not asking about the translation of a word I'm asking about marriage here in Egypt.
Me and my boyfriend are planning on getting married here, so I was wondering, what documents do we need to get married? and what exactly are the steps that do should do?
plus we both don't have a religion, is it ok for us to get married here?

You might want to read this article.

You will have to state your religion as being jewish, christian, or mulim. However if you do not have a religion I woud just have them mark christian, it doesn't really matter, it's just a paper formality for the most part. Also you will need to get certain forms from the egyptian embassy (I think they are mentioned in the article).

If you're both not Egyptians, then its irrelevant that your marriage be documented in the Egyptian Civil Archives, they will probably refuse.
If he is Egyptian, then there's no problem.
What is needed is to take your passports, birth certificates, any other documented info that you'd like to add to the marriage certificate and go to "ElTahrir complex" (mogamaa ElTahreer)
