I used to buy those fireplace logs in the supermarket, they work great, but they are a little more expensive than I remember..Any dry wood (except pine) will work just as well, and cheaper!!!!

Honestly, we take and chop our own trees. There should be places in your area where you can buy wood for your fireplace.

Oak is probably the most common and preferred of all wood. Any hardwood will work though.

My favourite cookie is that fancy variety you get at a bakery - this is were given about 6 or so layers and is mostly pink and eco-friendly with a skinny chocolate layer topping -- i imagine this is referred to as a petite fours??

Pine in the day cause it burns quick and produces alot of heat, and oak at night cause it burns slow and can stay lit all night so you don't have to re-light the fire in the morning.
