Ever been fired?

i've been fired 8 times coz i dont like it when my supervisor makes orders to me

* Oh yes, many times, fired and layed off. Fighting one time. chasing the boss with a knife one time way back in the seventies, cussing the boss one time. heck i can't remember any other specifics. I am 55 and have had 60 jobs in my lifetime and am unemployed now. but this last time last year i was fired due to not being able to do my job after my motorcycle wreck. I have not looked for work as I want to decide what I want to do now and make sure it is something that I will not get fired from or get mad and walk off from. i could go back to the job I had last year now that I am healed up, but I really want to do something else.I only have 7 to ten years before retiring and I want to pick something I will stay at this time. The longest I have held a job is 3 years one month. the most jobs I have had in one year is 14.*

Yes. I was hired after extensive interviewing by the owner of an insurance agency. I quit a job to take this position. It took months for us to work out the details. This was a family-owned agency and I was the only non-family person there. Turns out the daughter had some serious issues and demanded I be fired or she would quit. After just 6 weeks, the owner told me he had to let me go.

This place was nuts!

When i was 15 years old, i got fired for punching my boss. And that is the last time I have ever been fired.

I got so very drunk and wasted at the company xmas party. I was goofing around and play fighting with a friend( coworker) over the last drink. I called in sick the next morning because I had a massive hangover...anyhow when I finally got back to work my boss let me go.

I was also fired from a line cooks job for throwing a tomato in the head chef's direction. Mind you I only threw in her direction not at her...
I could go on...

No, I've never been fired. I've tried every dam day for the last 10 years to get fired, but for some reason, haven't succeeded yet.

Yes I got fired because they thought I was stealing all kinds of food from the restaurant. Turns out that after I left they found out it was the dishwasher guy who was stealing.

Once I worked for AAA, and after 6 months they could either keep you or let you go, I guess it was like a firing, but I opted to quit first....It was for not doing the job to their expectations!!!

NO I quit my last 2 jobs the first one cuz my manager hit on me the other because i had a baby
