I really enjoy eating rabbit when i was younger in Texas we used to raise them just to eat them. My wife from NY finds this barbaric and refuses to even try it. My question is this: Is it wrong to eat rabbit or is there anyway i can convince her to at least try it?

it is very wrong to eat rabbit!!! you are horrible for even thinking of it!! rabbits are cute and fuzzy, that would be as bad as eating a kitten. besides why would you want to eat such a small animal with barely any meat? thats why God made BIG animals, silly. like pigs. *oink* *oink* BACON!!!

To just answer your question - no. I grew up in an area where eating rabbit, squirrels, possum, raccoon, deer (and yes, we did have beef, pork and chickens - I was raised on a country farm). It was a way of life for me and still occasionally eat these types of meat. I have found that most city people (who have only eaten hoof, fin, or fowl) think that eating anything else (meat) is wrong, or barbaric and will not even try it. Do not push her - just let her order what she likes, and you order the frog legs!

I was raised to eat the wild rabbit--in Ohio. Not a thing wrong with it. I later lived with a family in New Mexico who raised rabbits to eat. I doubt very much if you will ever convince you wife to eat it. If the thought grosses her out, don't force the issue (except in teasing)

Rabbits are special because they can relate back to 5600 BC! And just go ahead and eat it!?!?! NO! Rabbits live so long ago. Even Homo sapiens ate rabbit. Don't convince her! It's just so Mean. So My answer is.... It's wrong to eat rabbit if your Wife thinks it's barbaric. Don't convince her! She dosen't like it!

There is nothing wrong with it. I love rabbit. If you really want to make an impression, serve rabbit on Easter.

Well, that depends. Is she a vegetarian? If not, then you'll have to remind her that she eats other animals too. Just because it's cute doesn't make it a crime.

your going to find this shocking because I'm a former Peta member and vegetarian.. but no its just food.. i learned over the years that things die.. all the time. and people get hungry. now if she dont want to try it dont make her. it could make her sick because she finds it gross.
