Depends on the age and personality of the guy, but from my experiences:
they either stare at you a lot
Tease (make fun of you) -- Seriously
Try to make random conversation with you or smiles at you a lot
Now this is immature but a great way to see if a guy likes you is talking about another guy and if he cringes, makes fun or avoids the subject or anything of that nature thats a sign he may like you.
And then there are the obvious signs, like
asking for your number or any other contact info
asking you if youre single
acting like your hero
asking you out!
The list can go on and on.

If a guy talks to you in any way, he likes you. If a guy ignores you, he probably doesn't. The exception is the quiet guy that you find looking at you a lot. This one is just super shy. Be nice to every guy because even the geeky ones can turn out GREAT! Never, and I do mean NEVER, have a friend ask for you. If you like a guy, find a way to talk to him frequently -- make yourself his friend. Once you have a dialog going with him, ask him to do something after school with you. Presto! You have a boyfriend!

Is he making a point of talking with you or acknowledging you? People won't go out of their way to talk with you if they don't like you. If he does come up to you, just enjoy a small conversation. Perhaps, over a little bit of time, you can figure out each other's interests and go from there.

its kinda hard to explain..but u can definatley tell by the way he acts around you...if he smiles more @ you...or goes out of his way to be around you...

if he acts goofy or different than normal for him when he is around you he definatly likes you
