There are three sets described here
let set A be the set of all actresses.
let set B be the set of all beautiful people.
let set T be the set of all tall people.
All actresses are beautiful
Restated this says that A is a proper subset of B.
Some actresses are tall
Restated this says that A intersects T
------------------------------...
therefore, Some beautiful people are tall.
Restated this says that B intersects T
Since every element in A is in B and since some element in A is in T there is an Element that is common to A and B that is in T.

In your case, set A represents beautiful people, set B represents tall people, and set C represents actresses.
Set C is entirely contained within set A (all actresses are beautiful). Set B intersects with set C (some actresses are tall) and set A since set C is entirely contained within set A (some beautiful people are tall).
Your premise is valid (given, of course, that your initial conditions are valid... I wouldn't necessarily say that all actresses are beautiful :-).

Do you mean Venn diagram? That's what you need for this.
Ignore everyone talking about the truth of the premises; that's irrelevant to the form of the argument's validity or invalidity (which, in formal logic is what validity means "If the premises are true, the conclusion MUST be true.").
This one is valid, as anonymous pointed out.
Another thing you can do with this stuff is to substitute all the nouns and adjectives to an example you can cope with better.
All apples are fruits.
Some apples are red.
Therefore, some fruits are red.
Since the question of deductive validity has nothing to do with the truth of the premises, substituting to a clearer example (where all the premises are indisputable) helps you see the form, or structure of the argument.

but you are right if you have the given info that you gave
