Gold. It just gleams more and looks great with any gemstone. Silver needs to be polished when it gets tarnished. 14K ,10K or 18K never tanishes. It is usually more expensive than silver,but it always looks like the day you bought it. Platinum is the best if you are looking for the silver look with high quality.

90% of the time I wear silver. I don't care for gold. It is just too yellow/warm colored for me skin tone. The only time I would wear gold is if whatever outfit I had on did not look nice with silver.

I prefer silver. I've had silver bracelets for 20 years that I never take off, accept for yoga classes and swimming. I do have some gold earrings, but most of my stuff is silver. I love the way it shines, it goes w/everything I wear, and as long as there's no nickle in it, it doesn't break me out.

I have darker/olive skin and I think yellow and rose gold look the best on my skin. I tend to avoid any kind of white metals for a few reasons. Obviously, I like the look of yellow and red better. Also, I like nicer jewelery so silver is out of the question. White gold is usually rodium plated and when that wears off, the yellow gold shows through and then I have to re-plate it to white gold. Too much work! Platinum tends to be out of my price range. :) That leaves yellow and red gold, which I love and can look unique. Plus, the colors are so warm.

I usually like gold because silver just has that "poor" feel to it. (IMO). But since more clothes have silver-y accents to it, I think I like silver better. White-gold it best though, because it has the great attributes of both and little of the bad attributes. Besides, I can't wear silver or fake earrings-- they must be gold. So I prefer white gold, overall.

silver.
it goes with more, and its classy.
plus, you dont have to find the RIGHT kind of silver like you do gold. for gold, you have to make sure its the same darkness or lightness as another accessory you pair it off with. ex- earrings &necklace. if its off, so is your entire outfit.
silver is easy, and JUST silver. :)

I like silver or white gold.
Silver can go with anything, and it flatters everyone! Gold makes you look really yellow, and it makes you look old!
