Integration issues for Europeans?
I believe there isn't any.
The most impt thing is your personal outlook and mindset. Singaporeans are generally more respectful to foreigners and will tend to be on their best behavior. Europeans, likewise, are also more polite and cultured(mostly!). Therefore, we live in harmony. There are lots of Europeans living in Singapore and this number is set to increase as our Prime Minister says that we should embrace 'foreign talent'.
In response, Singaporeans are getting used to this and adopting a more cosmopolitan mindset as well.

There a some, like fending SPGs or LBFMs who come in too strong. Or hanging within the closeted expat community in their own dream world. An example is the Carlberg ad showing a a brunette in cheongsum with wearing a hair chopstick, clapping out orders and sounding the gong. Maybe the SPGs will recreate the fantasy to get their men.

NO,
As dutch living for 3 years in SIngapore zero problems. Singapore is most easy city in Asia to get accepted/adjusted for Westerns. You can live as in Europe (ofcourse this will cost more) then adjusting to local live.
Western always seen by local with respect but only as long you behave and repect the local people. Singaporean very polite (like most asian) and harmonie is very important so they never will complain / say something to attack you. Not "loosing face" is very important so becarefull in what and how you say to people. In Europe we are more direct which for Singaporeans is seen at very aggresive (even insulting).
enjoy life in SIngapore
