this may be a stupid question, but how come Gatadriet Waters and Professor Astre Mithrandir (whom did the Ultimate unofficial guide to the mysteries of Harry Potter books 1-5 analysis) haven't officially done a book analysis of Harry Potter and the half-blood prince? Also, no stupid or un-necessary answers please. Thank you.

You can pre-order the book at amazon.com, but I'm not sure why it has not been released yet.

Personally I felt the guides were good for basic information on what happens when in the books, but weren't worth it for the theories, especially when there are so many websites that give similar information.

For theories and essays on Harry Potter I like to use mugglenet and hp-lexicon, as well as academic books such as "The Ivory Tower and Harry Potter" and "Harry Potter's World: Multidisciplinary Critical Perspectives."
