How many times did you breathe today?

I had breath about 10 times today. I took 623 breathes the last minute alone. Just as i was typing.

if you mean loud breathing, as in the "calming" kind, about a million when i was in the middle of tesco having an arguement throwing the bacon rashers at ma dad with the manager telling me to leave the store.

Well, I suppose around 20 x /per min =1200 per hr = 28.800 x per day, that would be average, without speeding up for running, excitement or anxiety. Everyone has a different speed of breathing. The less often you breathe the better for you, as this enhances the transportation of Oxygen to your brain. Breathing excessively will actually prohibit the efficient transportation of oxygen to the brain. BUT as the day is not done, who knows what excitement lies before me? which means I may have a much higher figure by the end of the day..........

Actually the average human breathes 14-16 times per minute, if today started at 12 a.m.and it's now 1 pm, averaging 15 breaths a minute, i have breathed 11,700 times.

normal breathing circuit : 20-25 per minute
I woke up at 1:00 pm
its: 8 pm here
so it is 7 hours of breathing
7 hours is 420 minutes
and it makes 840 breaths
