Ok...ask yourself this then: Why do you want the purse? If it's just because all your friends have one- then don't bother. If it's because you really want one and/or need a new one, then go and get yourself one. If not, then wait and save your money for something better.

It is definetly a waste. I mean, who cares what brand your purse is? As long as it's cute and can hold your things, it really doens't matter if its Coach or some other brand. Besides, everyone has Coach purses. They're so unoriginal. You'd get way more attention with a unique purse by an unknown brand than with a gereric Coach purse. And besides, you're only 13! You shouldn't be spending that much one one purse. I'm 17 and I have a Kool-Aid purse that I made and get compliments on all the time.

I was 12 when I first got my Dooney & Bourke purse and now I`m 13 and I want a Coach and Chanel purse. It really depends on how much money you have and are willing to spend on things like that.
I honestly think it is and it isnt a waste of money. You shouldn`t get one because all of your friends have one. You should get one because you want to and like other factors. So if you really want it, then it`s not a waste. But if its something to make you look cool, and then i t will be out in like 2 months, then yeah its a watse, because it might even take you 2 months to pay for it anyways.

I truly believe buying a little coach bag for yourself would be a waste because they're ALL the same, and the C thing gets really annoying. If you were getting a coach bag, you really should only get one of the bigger ones for a good reason. There's no point in buying a smaller, expensive bag if you have absolutely no reason, especially if you reason is to follow everyone else. Be your own person, next thing you know you'll be starting your own trend. And as another person said, go to China Town they all look the same whether real or not.

Be confident in yourself and who you are. Get the purse you like. Your friends will know that you bought the purse because they have one and not because you wanted it already yourself. This will make them feel that they have power over you. Every girl needs a great purse so it wouldn't be a waste, that is, if it is acutally a quality, long lasting, long on style purse. It's a good idea to buy into a trend and not a fad.

Want the truth? Unless you live in a high-class neighborhood where all the parents are CEOs of major companies and govermant officials, I don't believe they are real. You can get cheaper knockoffs anywhere. I think you'd be better off with a Coach wallet or jewelery. You can get cute purses anywhere, but Coach has the cutest wallets, definitely.
Don't get hooked on brand names, hun. It's more important to be unique and cool and trendy then having designer everything. Just my opinion and what your opinion will most likely be when you get older.
But if you want one, get one that's about $200-$300 or less. Not one of those $800 ones.
And if you really want one and have your heart set on a cute one, for all means GO FOR IT!! But NOT cuz' all of your friends have them.

Holy F*ck! What has the world come to? 13 year olds in need of Coach purses. Give me a break! Quit being so superficial! It drives me crazy how little girls that are barely teenagers are trying to act and look like their 18 yr old wh0res.

sure it's a waste, look at the prices of these. with that you could buy purses wholesale and have a different purse for every day of the year. to buy whole sale you need your mother or aunt to help you register a business name, go get a tax id # all would cost only 50.00 or so, next with only 200.00 you could get lots of really good purses and pretty too...just type in +wholesale purses. there are tons of 'em...think of opening your own business, maybe some one 18 would want to go into business with you, renting a place is only around 300.00 or so ....i love purses also, the right on has to just talk to me and say fun, cute, not like everyone Else's. good luck...I am sick of designer purses and all that hype...green stuff in my bank account makes me very happy....not being in....

i had that same problem i was thinking about getting one because every one else did, but then while shopping for my mom in khols i found this really cute Liz Claiborne purse, i love it no one else i know has that same purse. now its like the only brand of purses i carry. i think that brand better looking then most coach bags and it was only around 30 dollars but its a pretty small purse. thats just my opinion pick what you want

Theres tons of places like China Town where you can go to and get a (fake) Coach purse(that looks real) And buy it for SUPER CHEAP.
