well they hav less importance in most institutes but not the same for all
it depends on mentality of students as well as the position of institute see ramkrishna missin for examples
but surely they dont hav the the respect they used to get before which we cannot expect in this modern world and moreover todays teachers are also not eserving that much AGAIN I WANT TO SAY SPECIFIACALLY NOT ALL NOT ALL NOT ALL

Teachers are teachers, whether it is today or tomorrow. You cannot value them.

You can never value a teacher! you can guage them in terms of the lives they make for the students whom they teach!

Mere Jammu ka teacher tution per call karta, nahi to class me marta. Vaisa he tera teacher, vaise he saab ka teacher.

In my opinion teachers are having respect but they don't get adequate salaries.
