Why come to the Hockey section of Yahoo answers if you hate Hockey? I think it is a great sport.

people who haven't' accually tried learning about it and watching it. People who have Love it. It's a shame, because it's the fastest game, the most hard hitting game, and the most exciting game. where in football do you have guys who are injured playing until there's an opportunity to come off? they stop the game! not in Hockey. they also go to the locker room and come back 3 minutes later in hockey (not kidding).
Which is the wimpy sport again?

I love watching hockey but I hate football.
Hockey is fast and they fight and it's a great sport to watch when you have ADD. Plus if you go to the arena they are sometimes smaller and you can sit closer to the game.

You may hate it, but it's better than waiting five minutes for some guy to throw a ball to some other guy with a stick or watching a bunch of guys drive around an oval track 400 times. Hell, I bet you that I'll have even more fun and entertainment if I drove around my block 400 times than watch other people do it.

I certainly don't. It is a great fast paced sport. There is also fighting which is nice. I am a Ranger fan. Hockey is my favorite sport along with baseball, basketball and football.

I don't hate hockey, but I personally don't like it and YES I do know how the game works. I live in Toronto, Canada and listen to hockey crap every day, but I still don't have to like it just beacuse I live here.
I like American football, and soccer better.

Um, people who are too stupid or blind to see the puck or understand all the rules of the game probably hate it. I would imagine all those disgruntled soccer fans in the US who think they'd have a market without the NHL probably aren't too keen on it either. I, for one, love the game; it's the only sport I watch voluntarily and I'm on NHL.com every day checking out what's new around the league.
