Of course, Why not, No one should stay in a carreer they are not happy in. Age and experience in life should help getting a different career.

Why should age have anything to do with starting a career, if you pick a career where age is not the major determining factor in being hired!!!!
At 43 the person should have a more realistic view of life and business, not idealized that "zap" you are successful. Regardless of the persons age, a serious large percentage of small business fail.
Where I live a significant portion of the university's students are in the 30's and 40's, especially in the law school. The only problem with starting a new careet at 43 is the time it takes to get off the starting block, establish the business, and make enough profit or salary to look forward to retiring. And who says you have to retire at a certain age anyways.
Good luck. It never hurts to try new things!

Age is just a number.
43 is a long way to go to 80 (average old people die).
Just go for it.

Sure you can. Put all else aside for a while and make it work. If you have the want and the time there's no reason you can't. Good luck.

ABSOLUTLY, just have faith in your self. Iam asking the same question. Trying to narrow it down to what makes YOU feel good, is tough but hang in there. Many have done it before us and many will do it after us.

no reason why not- just look into upper management, they tend to be less discriminating about age
