I have been shaving my pubic hair for over 30 years. Not any reason why not. Most nudist men and women shave as the smooth feeling is great. The only draw back is while having intercourse with your partner she may not be stimulated as much on her clitoris as if you had hair. You choice. Wash the area, use warm water, use shaving cream and a sharp safety razor, the disposable are just fine. Once you finish then use a medicated talc power to help any irritation and keep your pubic area dry.

I think that it is perfectly fine to shave your pubic hair I have been shaving mine for about 15 years now and have not had any problems, now I am not going to say that there wont be some itching at first but like was was said earlier, it is like your face the more you do it the more your genitals adapt to it. As far as health reasons, neither my GP nor my Urologist have ever said that it was unhealthy.... So I say go for it

It is okay to shave anything, but there is a reason for hair in the places where located. Hair serves the purpose of protection. It prevents bacteria from entering the body, Maybe you should just try shortening the hair instead of shaving completely that way you will not be aggravated by the itch of regrowing the hair. Good luck.

I dont think there is any real reason why not.

But if you do keep in mnd that an ingrown hair in that area would be fairly painfull so i would suggest using hot water and a NEW sharp raisor, also after you have finished wash the area again with a mild soap and rinse in COLD water. The cold water will actually help close your pores. when you are done put on some talcum or baby powder to reduce itching and chaffing.

well, it depends upon you. if you are happy and confident to shave it all of, well then go for it. but if you are not sure if you are going to shave or not to shave, well then don't do it.

but if you are really sure if you are going to shave it all off, then use a scissors first to trim it because all the hairs will be stuck in the razor. if you have hair removal creams available at you local drugstore or supermarket, the better. you don't have to worry because you'll just wash it all away after 5 mins and voila! your privates are just as good as new!

From a male perspective, no. It causes severe irritation and may lead to folliculitis.

It is advisable to trim pubic hair, though. It looks much neater and looks better than a bare private areal. You can do this with a thin black comb and scissors; or an electric mustache trimmer. If you do use scissors be careful not to knick your skin around your balls; OUCH!!

I am assuming you are gay. Most gay men are really into body shaving. They shave everything off the same way women do. But, you will itch like the dickens if you have never shaved before. That's especially due to the fact that your genitalia is nothing like a woman's. That's why women have a huge advantage when it comes to shaving pubic hair. A woman's body was made to be shaved. Your body was not. SUZI S said shaving your genitals would be like shaving your face. No. It's not really like that. It's more like pulling your vagina out of your body, shaving it, and letting it hang there between your legs. It's not very comfortable at all.

Why don't you try a brazilian wax (a wax of the pubic area). It hurts like hell but is well worth it. The hair grows back finer and much thinner after time.

YES !!!

The best solution is the Seiko Cleancut shaver and Shavy trimmer, used by thousands worldwide.

The Cleancut will leave you with baby smooth skin and it doesn't nick, cut or bite. It only works on stubble length hair.

The Shavy is toothbrush shaped and really easy to manoeuvre around sensitive areas.

I wouldn't recommend a complete shave but as a kindness to the lady in your life you will find that a well trimmed bush is just as nice for them as it is for us.
