For the MIPs where you were over 18, those will stay on your record until you request that they be expunged. Expungement isn't guaranteed, so they may be on there for the rest of your life.

Since you obviously didn't learn the first (or second) time, it's possible that the Court will refuse to expunge the offenses.

Contact a lawyer and ask about the procedure for expungement.

The law changed in MI in 2004 so it is hard to say for sure. Did you each time complete what was ordered for you to do BEFORE the second and third MIP? Also, was there anything about sealing the charge or expunging it? You should have been given information on that at the time. With many MIPs as long as you do what you are supposed to do the charge is suspended. You may have a problem though considering you managed to get three!

The good news is that usually employers are only looking for felony convictions. I would disclose the information if you cannot determine if it would be on your record OR if the employer does not state (most do) that they are just interested in felonies. I doubt most employers would care to be honest.

Courts under no circumstances damage files. in case you bypass to the courthouse you'll see the first actual judgment that court ever issued. in case you go with to understand in case you could ultimately get the record sealed, search for advice from an area criminal specialist. in case you go with to understand if some college or agency will ultimately end being concerned, ask that college or agency.
