I had to do a presentation on French culture one year, so maybe you can do what I did..

First, I went to the store and got those cheap plastic wineglasses ( dollar store - 8 for a dollar) then I bought some grape pop, croissants, and little french pastries.
total cost- 25$

have everyone wear a beret, and fake curly mustaches, and draw a picture of the eiffle tower on the chalk board.

I took French in high school and we put together a slide show for her. We took her on a tour of Paris. The Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, and several other well known Paris hot spots.

We also made a buffet of cheeses, breads, crepes, and several different french deserts.

We had a goody bag for her that had a mini Eiffel Tower the French Flag and postcards that had french themes.

Then we all read her a french sonnet.

We went all out but just a few of those things would be appreciated.

See if you can bring like a hot plate to school and you all make crepes. Maybe two students bring in the ingredients for crepes, one student bring some drinks, one bring your plates and cups, one bring forks and napkins, and 4 students bring in some filling for the crepes (vanilla pudding, cool whip, strawberries, chocolate sauce, whatever.) Then see if you can find a decent movie at a rental place in French or a video on France so you can all watch it while eating your crepes. If you can't find a movie maybe make up a game of French Jeopardy for everyone to play. Or French Bingo, whatever.
