Rather than approach it from a vanity, strictly cosmetic point of view which I am sure many kids would go for, look into what COSMETIC SURGEONS are doing for kids in the third world who were born with horrible facial deformaties like cleft lip and pallette.

The doctors are saints. I've seen many before and after photos of these kids. They now have chances for normal lives and can speak and swallow like everbody else.

I can't recall the name of the organizations, but oral surgeons as well as plastic surgeons are involved with the tours to the third world.
