You dont vaccinces for Vic Falls or Egypt apart from the usual tetnus, typhiod diptheria which you should keep up to date any way. If you are travelling anywhere else in Zimbabwe you need to check with your GP as everyones medical conditions are different.

You will have a great time, dont forget to book your helicopter trip over the falls it is great and not too expensive.

Don't listen to the CDC recommendations. They will make a pincushion out of you and you will suffer more from side effects than any remote possiblity of getting a disease. For instance, I've traveled to Tanzania 4 times; I've climbed Kilimanjaro, have been to the Serengeti twice (chose migration season to go there), been to Ngorongoro, Olduvai Gorge, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, etc. If you ask the CDC they'll say, Tanzania--you need malaria prophyllaxis. However, there is no malaria in Tanzania in any of those regions I mentioned. There is in some swampland barrios of DarEsSalaam, but are you going to travel there? For best advice contact your tour operator. Ask him what he personally does for medical prophyllaxis on his trips. Then do what he does.

Africa is a big continent.North Africa does not need many vaccinations but the equatorial countries need a lot..Definitely malarial cover.Check with your pharmacist..they have a chart which is regularly updated.

It depends on the region you are intending to visit, I don't think you need any vaccinations if you want to visit northern Africa

Go to the CDC web site. I think its cdc.gov but not sure. They'll give you a list of vaccinations based on the country you're visiting.

go to:

http://www.cdc.gov/travel/cafrica.htm#vaccines

It's best not to rely on the Internet for medical assistance. You should visit your family physician, and ask what vaccinations are necessary, and what precautions to take. He/she will have access to your medical records and can advise you, in more definite terms, on the situation over there and how it will affect you.

Stay safe and enjoy your trip!

You could always ask your doctor if you need any as some places you dont need anything. Just state where you going and they will find everything out for you.
Good luck Hope you dont need any as i do hate injections.
