Oz was a show on HBO about an experimental prison unit. Friggin' awesome!!!!

I love the show. Excellent acting, true-to-life scripts. They don't pansy around with violence or any kind of "offensive" subject.
I wouldn't say it's the greatest, in my opinion, but it's definitely in my Top 5 shows of all time.

I have to say its one of the most violent pieces of television I have seen but also the best Prison TV series ever to be put to television.
Required viewing for anyone who likes a good television programme.
