Over the course of 5+ years John Bain has been adding rubber bands to his rubber band ball and somewhere along the line his ball bounced it's way into the record of the largest rubber band ball in the world.
John Bain's rubber band ball weighed 1,415.2 kilograms or 3,120 pounds when last weighed in 2003.

The world's largest rubber band ball, at last count, contained some 850,000 rubber bands, had a circumference of 15.1 feet and a height of 5 feet.

The total investment in creating the world's largest rubber band ball; about $25,000.00 USD, we just hope his check never bounced.
