Monitor compatability help?

Does anyone know if a Dell 17" LCD flatpanel monitor would be compatible with like an Acer computer? My friend says it is and I just want to double check to spare myself the trouble of having a computer with no monitor, or having two monitors. Thanks

Sure. As long as the monitor works it will work on any PC.

It'll work fine. You just have to match the interface, i.e. VGA or DVI.
