how can i open files in c:/ through dos on my pc

if ur prompt appears like this
c:\>
it means u r already on drive c otherwise use
c: to switch to c drive
change directories using cd command
u can find hlep on every command in dos by using /? switch i.e.
c:\>cd /?
will give u help on cd command
open the direcotry from where u want to run the files and then simply type the file name alongwith its extension,
remember only three types of files run directly in dos, the files that have extension
*.exe, *.bat, *.com
other files need appropriate programs to run...
