it was Skunk Anansie,the singer in question is Skin. They had 3 albums- Paranoid & Sunburnt,Stoosh, and Post Orgasmic Chill, lots of singles including ;weak,brazen (weep),Hedonism etc.. then she went solo.

I think that was Jada Pinkett Smith's band. The name escapes me, but they were at the last Ozzfest.
