I would not stay here unless it is for business. If your here to see the city, you would be much better off spending the extra cash and stay downtown. Driving can be intimidating if you're not from another big city and parking is expensive downtown. There is the "L" from mdw to downtown and easy to use but can be unsafe and intimidating at night if you're not used to it. If you stayed downtown you do not need a car, much easier to walk or take a cab
