Pregnant and no car, no job and the father wants nothing to do with the child what do I do?

First of all do NOT listen to the person who told you to kill your baby. That does nothing but make you the mother of a dead baby. You will carry that shame and ugliness with you for the rest of your life.
Instead make decisions that you can and will be proud of!
Also, you DO NOT need some man in order to have a baby and a good life. Women have been having babies without men for a LONG time!
I am not sure where you live but I know that there are social service agencies that exist solely to help young women in your situation. Do not get a job if you do not have to. You need to be taking care of yourself and your baby and you cannot do that if you are trying to work. Find out what help is available.
If you lived in this area I could help you and I know that there are people who do what I do everywhere in the country.
You will be fine. A woman with a baby can do anything that a woman without a baby can do! After your baby is born you should think about what you want to do with your life. There are wonderful programs to help you get a college education. Financial aide is available for single women with children. Most colleges today have daycare centers and you will be able to drop the baby off while you take classes. If this is not what you want to do with your life then you can see what kind of a job interests you and there will be a way for you to make sure your baby is well cared for while you work. I just think that it will be hard to find a job while you are pregnant, no one wants to hire a pregnant woman. There are programs that will help you so that you can take care of yourself until the baby is born.
Someday when you have your precious little son or daughter you will be able to be proud of the decision you made not to throw them from your life!
Oh...most importantly....plan to breastfeed! You can not mess up if you do that.

If you are going to keep the child then go after the father for child support, otherwise I would say that putting the child up for adoption is always a viable option and usually the best one. You could also go to your local health and human services office to get help with your situation. Usually they can help you or point in the right direction to get help. There are many programs out there to get you started as a parent if that is what you really want. Good luck to you.

get a job, buy a car, start saving for that baby, plenty of other women get by without the father and obviously hed be a dead beat dad any ways if he dont want nothing to do with somethin he helped create. you can do it and if you feel that overwhelmed, give the child up to some people who can give it everything you want it to have there are plenty other people out there that want children and cant have them. First of all you are your own person some of these people are so insensitive and rude only you know whats right for you. Im not glorifying abortion Im not agreeing with adoption (which is much bettr than abortion) and Im not sayig its better to just not have a job and depend on your states welfare system (they can help though) wether you are under 18 or not if you are fortunate enough to have a support system such as family or friends utilize them ...if you decide to keep this baby you will need all the help you can get but you dont have to depend on a dead beat-sorry a** person who wont be a father to his child trust me you dont need to stress yourself over him you and your babys health are more important. If you need help because you are going to keep your baby go to your states deptartment of social services they can provide with you with cash assistance food assistance until you have your baby also contact some churches in your area they can help with alot too you should also contact WIC 1-800-242-4WIC ............ if you decide not to have the baby there are some recources for that too wether you decide on adoption or abortion check online for help but either way remember dont let our responses influence your decision you know whats best for you good luck and if you need to you can send me a message

well frist of all you call social service and see what they can do if your over 18 they will give you transportation and you will be able to get back and forth to your appointments and hummmmmmm no job well first go to w.i.c. and they will get you the necicary items without judging you and about the father if you know his name you get child soport and if you hummmmm dont know the name the state will give you assistance you just have to start making phone calls thats the 1st step you cant panic your baby needs you know more than ever and dont get a abortion thiers a reson god gave you that baby and you are a strong female adn even though you fell weak right now you will over come and the reason i know is bacause ive been thier done that and glad i kept my child and you will be to

first how old are you? just wondering move in with a good friend or maybe relative or someone who is ok with you being prego and loves you anyway. once your settled you should maybe get a job depending how old you are I know your probably scared but you do have 2 people to think about now yourself and your little baby who will be here before you know it. I know you might be stressed because your father isnt being supportive but its will be ok if hes not supporing you because your pregnant just find someone who will you never know he mind come around someday in the future once he sees his beautiful grandchild good luck hun I really hope you get some help

Try getting as much help as u can from family,friends and other relatives...For now try your hardest to get a job (if u are still in your first trimester) a lot of places such as retail stores,food companies,grocery stores and other places give jobs out very easily. Take a bus where u need to go,I had to do this throughout my whole pregnancy with my first,as i had no job,no care and my boyfriend was working for minimum wage at the time (6 yrs ago).
Get on medicaid,it will cover your entire pregnancy and will supply u with vitamins etc for your baby...it will even provide u transportation to doctor appts if u need it at no cost to you..u can apply for food stamps as well at the same place u apply for medicaid and will get you some food u need up to 200 dollars a month. U need to get on wic at your local health department to get food for your baby and formula after the baby is born..call around,they will help you..

You are not in a position to give this child the life he/she deserves and you don't need the stress either. Give yourself a chance to be self-supporting and in a stable, committed relationship before planning to have children.
