It is located at the intersection of the ceiling and wall. How do I remove it and keep it from returning. Is it possible to seal the drywall so that it will not return?

1st remove mold/mildew with bleach or I'll recommend 2 Zinseer products you SHOULD use, mildew&stain remover, comes in spray bottle works great, 2nd is bathroom paint wich is mildew resistaint garunteed for 5 yrs, also a Zinseer product. You don't want to just paint over the mildew cause then you'll never get rid of it only by sanding off the paint that you covered it up with. Highly recomend a bathroom fan or at least crack your window open a little when showering. Good luck
