I'm adopting a bunny in about a week. I want to make sure that my house is safe for him! Is there any safe way to hide wires that are exposed, or make them not seem like they're not tempting to chew?

I have to comend you for thinking proactively - many bunny owners wrongly wait until after the bunny chews cords to address this!
There are a lot of sites and books that cover this but here is the one I like the best (I have house rabbits and foster rabbits, so I have used this a bit!): I make two layers of protection:

Spiral cable wrap Radio Shack sells something called "spiral cable wrap". It costs about $3 for 10 feet and works like a charm for most, but not every bunny. (Some still manage to chew through it.)

Plastic tubing (similar to that used in fish tanks, or with "swamp coolers") from a hardware or aquarium store can be slit lengthwise with a blade and the wire can be tucked safely inside. A harder, black, pre-slit type of tubing is also available.

Also- keep your remote controls out of bunny reach - they LOVE to chew the buttons!

I put my wires inside 3/4" foam pipe insulator you buy at the hardware. They are slit so it's easy to tuck the wires in them. They are cheap and come in 5 foot lengths. It takes a determined bunny to chew through that before you catch them.

you must be there to watch them when they are out. you could put the wires in a pipe but then what about the paint on the walls. it is hard to bunny proof your home. and you have to be careful of them getting under thing that have motors,

Good luck! I had a rabbit she chewed up everything she could find. If yo are planning to let it roam the house you can litter box train it {didnt know if you knew this}.
