Everything absorbs radiation.
Radiation is the energy due to light waves (which might not be visible because they have a frequency that is either too low or too high). So when the light waves hit the cactus, the cactus absorbs the energy (and will use that energy to grow).

Radiation is basically light in this sense (there are other things catagorized as radiation too, such as alpha particles but I don't believe they're emited to a reasonable amount from TV). And yes, Cactus should absorb some of the radiation, otherwise it would look like a mirror instead of looking green. But it does no better than your clothes or your hat or your sun glasses. It can not just pull all the radiation to it self, it will just absorb what lands on it. You can put clothes on and walk around daylight, and only part that is covered will not get sun tan, the same principle applies.
It might be a good idea to put on sunglasses when watching TV...

The term radiation refers to anything that travels in rays such as light and heat. Plants absorb light to make sugar in photosynthesis. You absorb heat standing near a heater. Color tv's were once thought to give off radiation but do not today, other than light and sound. Cactus absorbs no more than any other plant. No one should sit directly in front of the tv but it does not give off dangerous radiation.

on condition that it grew to become into an extremely super suagaro cactus located quickly between you and the small screen television - yet then you extremely ought to not see something. Radiation (if there grew to become into any) could be emitted in all instructions from its source and not soaked up magically with the help of one small cactus. in case you place a cactus next to a lamp you will discover the easy from the lamp, won't be able to you? until eventually you block it out with an exceedingly super suagaro! comparable concept.
