They make a device called a duct booster, essentially it's a piece of duct with a fan motor in it. You can buy this from any heating and air supplier.

There are little flap dampers with thumb screws on each duct run leaving the main Plenum in the basement . Those are turned from 0 degrees to near 90 for a minimum air flow thru each pipe.

You will have to "choke off" some rooms to get the air flow more in the others you desire using those dampers down there.

DO NOT put your furnace on HIGH speed. That will COOL DOWN the combustion chamber inside the furnace and it will cause Acidic Condensate to form on the tubes and you will destroy your furnace doing that. A blower is designed for a CFM exactly to match a furnaces's combustion rate.

If you want a better flow rate, you can buy a furnace that you can vary that on, and it will not destroy the furnace. The new 90% furnaces are built for variable speed to compensate for ducting problems, and that is avail on these new furnaces for just that.

Its all a question of air flow, maybe use thinner filters or none at all. The best fix is to change pulley size on your blower to a smaller size, so that the fan goes faster at the same rpms of your drive motor. A little work but it will definitely blow harder.

change the filter, check the damper in the line, check the speed of your fan, the fan turns faster on cooling, but if you run it that fast on heat, you will get more air for sure but at a lower temp.

They make and sell a fan you can install in your duct work, but it will rob the rest of the house.

I have the damper set for cooling in one room, it works fine in the summer time. But in the winter it is the coolest room in the house, since I am not in that room often it usually stays that way.

1) change the filters once a month no matter what
2) you could change the size of pulleys on the blower.

swithch the fan relay wire to the high speed setting The furnace works best in medium for heat and high for cooling

duct boosters are garbage .they all ways break down and now you have a restriction !if your furnace is fairly new then look at your circuit board u have a hi-lo speed terminal make sure that the black wire is plug in the hi spot .the blower miter has 3 sreeds lo=blue wire med=red hi=black .now follow these wires to the circut board .see whit ch is plug ed in
