I'm assuming that you are smart enough to know that the printer is...

a) on
b) has sufficient ink and paper
c) capable of printing, because you have done the test print

I found that my new printer had not been selected as the default printer, and that my print requests were actually being sent off to some Microsoft site. Go into Control Panel, select your printer as the default printer, and print whatever you want. (And delete the Microsoft printer from your selections.)

Sounds like the computer is not recognising it. Had a similar problem and in the end had to uninstall everything a start again. Failing that take the whole lot to a dealer and see if they can sort it out. I eventually had to get another printer.

Refilling the cartridge does no longer artwork with some manufacturers. Many manufactures placed a counter contained in the circuitry on the cartridge. no count number how finished the cartridge is, if it become used X quantity of cases it is going to now no longer print. purchase new cartridges.
