Criminals on death row are there for a reason. They have been found guilty of heinous crimes and have been sentenced to death for them. On the other hand, little babies are the epitome of innocence, they have harmed no one.
It boggles my mind how some people, usually liberals, can so easily condemn these precious little lives to a horrible death yet shed so much tears and hold so many candles for bloodthirsty killers.

Unfortunately, many of these people are focusing on revenge and are ignorant of the facts. This issue it too imporant to decide without the verifiable facts. This is not a liberal vs conservative issue.

Re: cost
The death penalty costs far more than life in prison. The extra costs begin even before the trial.

Re: Possibility of executing an innocent person
Over 120 people on death rows have been released with evidence of their innocence. If we speed up the process we are bound to execute an innocent person.

Re: DNA
DNA evidence is available in no more than 20% of all murder cases. It is no guarantee that we will never execute an innocent person. It is human nature to make mistakes.

Re: Deterrence
The death penalty is not a deterrent. Murder rates are actually higher in states with the death penalty than in states without it. Moreover, people who kill or commit other serious crimes do not think they will be caught (if they think at all.)

Re: Alternatives
More and more states have life without parole on the books. Life without parole means what it says and is no picnic.

Re: Who gets the death penalty
The death penalty is not reserved for the “worst of the worst,” but rather for defendants with the worst lawyers. When is the last time a wealthy person was sentenced to death, let alone executed??

Re: Victims families
People should know that the death penalty is very hard on victims’ families. They must relive their ordeal in the courts and the media. Life without parole is sure, swift and rarely appealed. Some victims families who support the death penalty in principal prefer life without parole because of how the death penalty affects families like theirs.

Last of all, opposing the death penalty does not mean a person condones brutal crimes or excuses the people who commit them. I believe that the dialogue on the death penalty should be based on verifiable facts. People should make up their minds using common sense not revenge.

There are a pair of distinctive innovations on the two matters. First, while does existence start up? If existence does not start up until eventually start, then you definately could be professional abortion and anti-dying penalty based on the actuality that abortion won't be killing. while you're professional-existence and for the dying penalty on a similar time, the questioning many times comes right down to you believing that existence starts at theory, and the actuality that the criminal pick to break others, together as the baby has no longer violated the rights of others. 2 distinctive faculties of theory, neither are unavoidably incorrect. I hire the two. i'm professional-selection, in that i do no longer think existence starts at theory (yet I do have self belief existence starts on the element while the baby ought to stay outdoors the womb by skill of itself, which i think of it something like 5 months), and that i'm professional-dying penalty, via fact I do have self belief that in case you kill yet another human, you have given up your organic good to existence. i'm not sure how any of those perspectives are incorrect, see you later as you're consistent on your questioning.

Pro life people are against the death sentence. Against abortion people are usually pro death sentence. This is simple. Just sit and listen sparky.
#1. Abortion is killing a human for the actions of the mother.
#2. Death sentance is exicuting someone for the actions of themselves.
I know you're smart enough to understand that. Now don't ever ask again.

Because what did a child who hasnt been born do?

If someone kills 1- 5 people they automatically forfiet there lives. They shouldn't get life in prison and waste tax payers money.

No people who commit manslaughter do not fall into this category
But if the woman was raped and is going to have a child? She should give it to an adoption agency if she doesnt want it.

All Life is sacred. But once you commit a crime, that is punishable by Death. You give up your right to have Life. Therefore you must serve the sentence. It's two different things. Liberal Koo-aid, must leave a bitter taste in your mouth.
