Which one is better?

That is really hard to say. You really can't compare the two. Even though they are both about zombies. They are very different movies with different tones to them. Dawn of the Dead if you are talking about the original is among a group of ground breaking movies. There would be no really good zombie movies without Night of the Living Dead or the others.They were scary and I remember not being allowed to see them when the first came out. They were also banned in some areas. Shaun of the Dead is very different in that humor was also used to tell the story. ( Though there are some truly scary moments as well.) Both are equally good movies and no zombie movie fan should be without them in their collection. And I do mean the original as well as the remake of Dawn of the Dead.

Shaun of the Dead, without a doubt. One of the funniest movies ever. Almost as good as the Evil Dead trilogy (although nothing will ever beat Army of Darkness).

Depends. Which version of Dawn of the Dead are you talking about? The mediocre remake a couple of years ago, or the original directed by George Romero?
