I would tell him that they are something men sometimes need to use when they are older because sometimes thier private part can get an infection and by wearing the condoms it protects them. You dont need to go into all the sex part and stuff . This way you are not lieing to him and your not really getting into all the fine details which he really doesnt need to know about yet. If you tell him in a way that seems like no big deal he will be satisfied with your answer. He probably already knows more or less what they are for from other kids and is just testing you or wanting to see how you will react. Just act like it is no big deal as if he were asking about a new type of shampoo or something. If you dont answer his question he will still be curious so you dont want to just try and change the subject.

Depends on what he is asking. If he just wants to know what it is an ad for, tell him. It's an ad for condoms. If he wants to know what condoms are, tell him, they keep people from getting pregnant. His question is probably much more innocent than you think, and you should be honest with him. You would probably be shocked at what the kids at school would tell him anyway. 7 years old is not too young to talk about sex in a reserved way. Heck, I know 11 year olds that are getting pregnant. Better to be honest with your kids.

A 7-12 months-outdated's concept of the worldwide isn't the comparable as an adults, so ask him what he desires to be responsive to concerning the business precisely. His answer would be that of a 7-12 months-outdated's point of expertise, and could ask your self you. If what he asks has not something to do with intercourse, lots the extra desirable. yet another tact you ought to take is to tell him it is in basic terms some uninteresting element television human beings attempt to sell adults.

unless he knows something about it , he cannot ask such qns, so he is only trying to verify if the information is true/not so its up to u to tell him if ur can go with it but if u r not comfortable about telling then dont, for the child itis just a matter of checking a fact, but there is no harm in telling it , the way it is told is very important for u cannot go into the matter directly u can beat round the bush but winning his confidence is important and he may go and spread it to his friends. though we cannot give a clear picture but we can tell them that still there is time , untill and unless he grows older these matters must be learnt in detail later.. we have to answer the qns coz he/she is in preadolescent stage, yes it is right to start, no harm done at all.

Whatever you do, don't lie to him. He will more than likely resent you for lying about something so big. I would at least explain that they are something that adults use when they want to show each other how much they love one another. If you want to explain more than that it is up to you. My mother explained to me and my sister where babies came from when we were 5 and 8 because she was pregnant with my little brother. She didn't think that my sister would understand or remember at 3 (when I was born) which is why she didn't explain it to her then.

Don't lie to him just tell him the truth because if you lie to him he will trust you less children may not know every thing but they aren't retards they will find out the truth and it is better to hear it from someone they love.

I agree, thats a really young age, with my kids, you either change the subject or say the simple but useful line , "I'll tell you when your older" but dont make your child too suspicious or he or she will use the ever-popular technigue all kids used when i was in school- THE BUS! you can learn many things there. Trust me, just change the subject or say you forgot something and had to go check on it! easy!
