Nah, don't worry. There are loads of *way* more morbid jobs out there! Undertaker, grave digger, slaughterhouse worker, hitman...

I'm a joiner/carpenter. I once bid on a lot number at an auction thinking it was timber for coffins and actually bought a load of satin pillow slips and taffita linings. A joiner friend of mine bought it all because he was also an undertaker. Nothing to be ashamed of as its an important job.... You could change jobs and be cesspit cleaner or rat exterminator for the council. Guess which one the ladies would prefer.

Hey - don't be embarrassed of what you do! It's something we will all need at some point, and if anyone thinks you're weird then it's them that's got the issue.

I used to want to be a pathologist and when I tell people sometimes they look at me like I've just told them I want to cut them open right there! It's them that have issues with death not us.

It's a good, honest profession so be proud of what you do!

No man, it's not like you make them out of unborn kittens or anything.
Certainly it's an honest, needed trade...nothing at all to be ashamed of. Personally, I think it would be a great ice-breaker, certainly unique compared to all the lawyers, Doctors etc out there...

I used to make diapers for a living, while in University....these things are used and better we make them than some factory in Malaysia...

There are worse jobs. Like working in a sewage. Or doing colonics.

Tell them you are a carpenter, sounds like thats what you do since you don't deal with the bodies. Nothing weird about that.

Some one has to make them. You'll never be out of work as birth death and taxes are unavoidable.

I suppose somebody has to do it. I met an undertaker once. Never stopped telling jokes. I think he was a bit doolally.
