Probably some of the less intelligent, uneducated ones, and poor ones.

For those who are poor becoming a radical is often the only vocation open to them.

Plus they are brainwashed into believing that if they die in Jihad or holy war with the infidels that they will be martyrs and get a bunch of virgins from Allah when they die.

Plus the terrorists probably have a pretty good recruiting program gonig on now. And some of the other Arab countries are secrely giving money because they don't want to see Iran with it's Shia form of Islam take hold in Iraq.

The crux of the problem lies in the media. The media refuses to cover moderate Islamic beleivers in exchange for the loss of media value radical Islam carries. There are millions of moderate Islamic followers who are being overlooked for the small percentage of radicals who desire to throw them all back to the 16th century in a caliph led state chaired by Iran. Only when the moderates return fire against the radicals will it stop. Compare it to Hitler and the small percentage of Nazi's who overran Europe (including France and a host of other less diabolical nations). Hitler used his religious convictions as justification for the elimination of not only Jews, but Gypsies, Catholics, Gays, the mentally incapacitated and anyone who opposed him. Radical Islam is much the same in its beliefs except it identified Christianity as a whole as evil along with the intolerance of the other groups.

Only when the media allots as much time to moderates in the Islamic world standing against tyrannical and fanatical Islamic fundamentalists will the philosophy lose its appeal and value.

I belive this causing more rasisim. There are people who won't trust someone because of their religion. Its wrong, we need this war to be over and talk things over. They should teach children about the belifes and views of religions out side of the key religion in their countries. Mabe the world could get along better.

Terrorism will becrease, because we are killing many terrorists, but many are getting inspired to hate us because they see the War In Iraq as part of the war on Islam, and if they feel their way of life is threatened, they most definitely will take up arms. I hate to say this, because the Iraq War was for a good cause, but we didn't know the outcome would be this bad.

yes.. This is what separates humans from sheep, you can beat a sheep to submit to your will, but you cannot beat another human to submit. That is why slavery failed - as for terrorism, you cant declare a physical combat with a concept - you can only defeat a concept with one that is better - provide a better alternative to someone who is willing to sacrifice his/her life and you will end terrorism.
