You are so right and so insightful! It's hard to understand how citizens of our country in the time of war could turn against it's own nation like they have. The expression divide and conquer is one scary thought but a reality if they don't wake up. I don't understand anymore but I will always back our great president up, he did what he had to do after 9/11, anything less would have brought us more intense attacks.

I would suspect that most people who lost someone on 9/11 stay very informed and already know that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Bush relegated the War on Terror to second status in order to attack a country he was obsessed with before 9/11 ever happened. That is not a tough stand on terrorism, in fact it was an insult to everyone who wanted the heads of Al Queda on a stick. Bush has already admitted that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 - did you miss that somewhere along the line? Of course Hillary Clinton says her vote was a mistake. She just spoke about it yesterday in Iowa, saying she takes responsibility for her vote. She and most of Congress voted for this war for the same reasons that most of America was all gung ho about it in the beginning. We believed Bush and his claims - which have now turned out to be nothing but b.s. If this incompetent President was truly tough about terrorism he would send these additional troops to Afghanistan where Al Queda is surging hugely once again, instead of sending them into Baghdad to be glorified policemen for a civil war. Get informed!

Hillary was just covering her precious buns because in her bid for presidency - someone would have screamed "Foul!" in the mud slinging that will errupt and point out her voting for the war. Her expressed regrets are pure political butt covering and nothing more.
Its the same old song and dance and her gender does not change the use of the political arsonal (bag of tricks).
I for one appreciate Bush's desire to stop terrorism, but I think our boys should have best been sent to clean North Korea's Kim Jung-il's clock before he got his hands on nukes. Bush made a bad judgment call. I support the war on Terror but as even his own crew pointed out, the headquarters for terrorism is in Iran and Syria.., mainly Iran.

My friend's step-father was the co-pilot of one of the airplanes that crashed into the towers, but she still supports Bush. Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11, but Al Qaeda does. Al Qaeda is spread all over the Middle East, so it will take a while to stop terrorism, especially since terrorist groups are growing, but eventually, terrorist attacks will be even more rare.

If the attacks happened today instead of 5 years ago then Bush would be blamed for rerouting all of our resources from anti-terror detection to the war.

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. That is why he has lost so much support. I am alright with going in to Afghanistan to try to get Bin Laden. My problem is the fact that he lied to everyone of us and said there were weapons of mass distraction in Iraq and we needed to go in there and finish the job his daddy started. I can not stand behind someone who lies to us just to justify his ulterior motives.
You and my son-in-law can stand behind Bush all you want but again, neither of you lost anyone in this war have you?

It's a good thing only 33% of Americans still believe that Iraq had anything at all to do with 9/11.
It's a bad thing that you're among them.
