Zip codes are a feature of the US Postal System. Malaysia as a separate, and independent country, is not served by the US postal service. Malaysia, however does have post codes, each city, town and postal district having its own.

or zip code depends on which state we're in..

example
state:- Kuala Lumpur
zip code :- 53000

well mine was KL 55000 for Jalan Damai

or Sitiawan 32000 in Perak

But that was more than 10 years ago
