I read a book by Jack Horner. He believes T. rex was a scavenger when its known fact it was a predator and lots of evidence suggests pack hunting. Nonsense like that sends you to sleep in seconds.

Watch TV, but something that doesn't take much concentration like sit-coms, or an old familiar movie. Sometimes I read something light, not an involved novel, because I have stayed up all night reading because I was all-consumed in the plot. Sometimes, just soft, easy-listening music does the trick.

No doubt you got some good advice but I would like to add a few sugestions.

Try Arnica the homeopathic remedy, and Kali Phos Tissue Remedy (similar to homeopathy). To know more about them, contact me separately. No cost involved. Do some slow deep breathing to relax.

take a real hot bath or shower til you are relaxed and you have raised your body tempeture. Then go lie down without covers on, as your body tempeture goes down you will get drowsey and fall asleep. Works for me. Don't watch tv tho as this just continues to stimulate your senses making it harder to drift off. Good luck

Read a book. It has to be one you like but not so exciting as to keep you up all night reading it.
