Not for visiting an enemy nation during armed conflict with her birthright country, but for allowing herself to be photographed with an enemy soldiers helmet on while sitting on an anti-aircraft gun pointing at the sky when her birthright country's aircraft might come along at any moment, thus giving said enemy country vast amounts of propoganda?....If not,why wouldnt you consider that being a traitor?....

The relevance to any issue is not a part of the question...its a yes/no/why question....relevance in a crime has no bearing

Jane Fonda did indeed commit traitorous acts during the Vietnam war. According to the Constitution of the United States, a traitor is defined as anyone who wages war against the United States or gives our enemies aid and comfort. It can not be denied that she did indeed give them both aid and comfort by posing for propaganda photos and doing propaganda broadcasts on communist ran radio stations.

Those on here who have said that the supposed violations of her First Amendment rights (she has no right under the First Amendment to travel to an enemy nation and give them aid) is of more concern are clearly ignorant of the law and what does or does not constitute an act of treason. Ignore them.

For her visit to Hanoi in 1967, absolutely. She committed acts that are the very definition of treason. She should have been arrested at the airport immediately upon her return and put on trial for treason.

For what she did at the rally yesterday, no. She has every right to voice her opinion and demonstrate against the government. Those rights are guaranteed to her in the Constitution.

I just find it absolutely abhorrent and sickening that she is so free to exercise these rights while stabbing in the backs the men and women who fight and die to protect those rights.

She's a total disgrace as an American. Just the sight of her makes me want to vomit.

Yes. Because she apparently visited Viet Nam and when our prisoners of war passed bits of paper to her with their social security numbers on them, she turned around and handed those over to the enemy. Those men were tortured as a result and some died.
She is a traitor.

I believe she is a traitor. Treason is punishable by death, so she is lucky the government is not going after her. I wish she would stop siding with communists and so on and making our country look bad. She is really annoying.

I am editing out my answer because I have learned through experience the questioner is just the type to hit me for a violation. Why try to talk to someone with their mind shut tight? But I refuse to delete my answer. That is my own type of protest.
