i dont need really brand names i just want to know what kinds of clothes are skater girl type style and maybe links to pictures i could go by

I might be wrong but the thing that comes to my mind when I think skater girl:
Avril Lavigne-style black eyeliner
Baggy trousers but tighter tops
Shoes like DCs, Vans, Converses etc
Baseball caps
Long hair
Half of it's an attitude though, so you might look strange with the clothes but not the actual style...
& Learning to skate is also good.

um iv been skating since i was about 6 or 7,but if ur a skater u dont need the "look" ur kinda born with it, i surf and skate i wear alot of volcom and hollister and hurley stuff but u shouldnt be a poser if u dontt really skate.
and all that other stuff with the pins and rubber bands is emo not skater

yeah, i dress kinda skater. i wear a lot of cropped zip up sweatshirts, rubber bracelets, beanie hats are a major thing to make you look skater and feel free to put band pins on them, cargo pants, etnies, armwarmers, and most importantly skater shirts (think volcom, hurley, etc). Think lilly from from hannah montana. also pacsun is mainly a skater/surfer styled store.

um. i dont dress skater ish but i do know skaters and they wear punkish stuff.. alot of times. they have like chains or a bike chain thingy around there pants .. wrist bracelete things that are usally leather and wide... ummm... black earings .. they usally have blonde and caramel highlights...

the sk8r look is kinda...i dunno....dorky.But if you REALLY want it,try googling it.Ties,sneakers,tank tops,and jeans that look too short are kinda what im thinking of.Oh and a beanie on your head.

idk im a prep, but you could wear like a black shirt and dark or really light jeans, and never straighten your hair! you could also wear like black sneaks like etnies or like dc's. i had a phase last year when i was skater.good luck!! :)...
p.s. u could google skater girls, or google um like etnies.com or something like that
